Twelve client wins in twelve weeks for V Formation

« Back to all posts

V Formation is delighted have secured a dozen new clients in as many weeks, despite the impact of lockdown. The newest additions to our marketing and PR client roster span a wide range of sectors from biotechnology, hightech and healthcare to manufacturing, health and wellbeing and professional services.

Amongst our new clients are carbon recycling biotechnology company Deep BranchIndex West Midlands Property Information which provides conveyancing searches, reports and property transaction solutions to law firms, PainChekthe world’s first AI-powered pain assessment tool for people with dementia and other cognitive impairments, and GripAble a new mobile assessment and treatment device to help people with upper limb impairment.

Since the start of May 2020, all the new clients have signed-up V Formation to deliver a mix of retained and project work across our range of marketing and PR services. Hilary Campton V Formation

COVID-19 and the impact of lockdown on us and so many businesses have been challenging,” says Hilary Campton, Director at V Formation. In truth, it wiped out more than a third of our income as clients sought to protect their own businesses and put a halt to discretionary spend.
“But our team quickly adapted to the different, new way of working with clients, by adopting agile, flexible, virtual and online operations for our existing clients, as well as when pitching for new work.”
The new wins get us back to where we were pre-pandemic, and it’s down to the hard work of the team. New clients are accelerating their growth plans and recognising the need to invest in their marketing to gain a competitive edge, and what is abundantly clear, is that many businesses understand the value of PR and marketing in difficult times, and the benefits of fine-tuning and increasing focus in response to this and to ensure relevance in today’s increasingly online and virtual world.

“Decisions overmarketing and PR plans and activity have been made faster than ever before,” adds Hilary, and we’ve onboarded new clients, many in different countries and time zones, within matter of days or weeks. Alongside, we have continued to guide clients on how to evolve their marketing strategy and activities to address the new emphasis on online platforms and virtual interaction, which has also worked extremely well.”

V Formation specialises in marketing and PR support for professional services firms, family and private businesses, together with working with numerous SMEs in the high-tech and life sciences sectors, which have proven to be largely unaffected by COVID-19 and lockdown, as V Formation DirectorSue Carr explains:

“We work with many companies in the life sciences sector, and despite initial concerns back in March, the sector has been largely unaffected by the challenges of the COVID-19 lockdownContract research organisations are nimble and flexible and thereby able to continue operating. The need for drug discovery and development is as important as ever, with a number of our clients being directly involved in COVID-19 projects.”
“For some of our new and existing clients, the recent months have provided an opportunity for them to move forward with a range of projects across the marketing mix – from running online strategy and values sessions, market research, and end-to-end delivery of new websites.”
Several clients that put work on hold back in March have now reinstated V Formation, realising the importance of continuing with their marketing and PR efforts and maintaining a presence and profile in their respective markets.
