Alex is our organised number cruncher.

As Finance and Operations Manager, Alex makes sure that V Formation is on track for growth. As well as looking after our accounts, she oversees our day-to-day operations and keeps the team well-organised with her meticulous eye for detail.

With extensive accounts and auditing expertise, Alex has worked for several well-known organisations over the course of her career, including Goldman Sachs, where she managed the accounts function of all catering facilities within branches based in the UK, and MFI, where she reconciled the branch accounts for 200 stores.

After spending several years as a school food support service officer for Leicestershire County Council – a rewarding role, which involved ensuring that all children in the county had access to healthy school meals – Alex rekindled her passion for numbers and returned to the world of accounting. She began working for V Formation in 2021 and (we’re exceedingly pleased to say) joined the team permanently in 2023.

Alex manages all things financial at V Formation. She has a real knack for putting new, more efficient systems in place that simplify processes and make life easier for the team. An organised, methodical and calm person, Alex loves feeling like she has made a real difference and that things are working better because of actions she’s taken.

Away from the office, she is a big fan of baking – and makes Bake-Off worthy scones! You can also find her listening to country music (Chris Young is a firm favourite) or cheering on the Red Bulls in Formula One. Fun fact about Alex: she once cycled an incredible 400km across Cuba in just seven days, raising a whopping £15,000 for Childline.
